We manufacture purpose made joinery in our own workshop in Tiverton, Devon, South West.

Wood’n’Head was established in 1983 by Mr Wood and Mr Head.

Mr Head was in fact Mr Wood’s apprentice for another local firm when he was a school leaver and after many happy years working together they decided to set up on their own providing a service of Joinery and Carpentry where by they could supply the Joinery and fit it all within one business thereby simplifying the process for the customer. In 2001 Steve Head’s Son, Paul, joined the company who is now a director after the retirement of Mr Wood in 2012, where we decided to keep the well know trading name of Wood ‘n’ Head Ltd.

Wood ‘n’ Head are slightly unique in this approach and still feel it is a service that customers prefer, after operating from Tiverton, Devon and the surrounding areas for over 41 years it must be working.

Although most of what we produce in our Joinery workshop we fit ourselves on site we also work with local builders and tradesmen who require us to simply supply the Joinery for them, and likewise if a customer has a long trusted tradesmen who they want to use for fitting or even want to fit it themselves then we can make what is needed and leave the rest to them.
